Christmas card for 'Spray Plan' 2014

Two illustrations of families for publishing project. Neither of these two were selected but the final concepts were of a smaller family and a little more rounded.

All this coverage of cyclists and accidents leaves images in my mind. I don't want to show the horror of it but it wheedles it's way in there and starts to form some images. If you are a cyclist, take care. I ride a bike and a motorbike and I drive a car. All three require different disciplines. There, I've done the preachy part as well.

This is the Christmas cover I illustrated for Bauer publishing. They have been a pleasure to work with and I've always appreciated their support. Go Puzzle magazine in its 20th year.

Three more cards for Christmas this year. I must admit, I do enjoy doing them.

Three more illustrations for the advertising campaign. I only had four days to do these in including changes. It was pressured but good fun.

Sunday driver. Illustration for a car rental company.

Another Christmas card. This one was done for an electrical engineer; POINT ELECTRICAL. A very good company run by a great guy, Josh Gardner. I enjoyed doing this one and Josh was a pleasure to work with.

I've been designing Christmas cards for companies. This is one where they are for something sophisticated in the design. I hope this manages that.

I did this a couple of years ago. I've just come across it again. It's from a series of drawings called 'Freak Show'. It just made me smile.

This is  the cover for the upcoming Crohns and Colitis Fundraising magazine. The guys at this charity are great. The cause is really important but funding is always ongoing. It's one of those causes that you don't think about unless you know someone suffering with it. It's often painful, debilitating, and often life changing. If you feel that you might want to do something to help get in contact. The charity is based is ST. Albans in the UK.

I enjoyed doing the cover. It was a wrap around.

The family. Compared to most families I would say this is your average, everyday, run of the mill family. Maybe that's just compared to mine?

Here's another one. I don't think these are going to sell particularly well but it was fun doing them.

I produced a series of cards connected with weddings. This was the first of them. It makes me look cynical about marriage but I've been married for over 30 years to the same woman and she's great. I just think I look out there at some people and see the humour in their predicament.

A goth. Obviously this is my interpretation. I have no experience of goths at all. I know they are jaunty and have a happy go lucky approach to life but beyond that?...

Ah, the sunshine. Wouldn't it be nice to see it again? This is just an ink drawing.
